I am demanding that there be a rerelease of Tetris CD-i, literally the only change that would need to be made to it would just be making the controls more responsive and having more than counter-clockwise rotation, other than that it'd already be perfect as some cheap digital rerelease.
If you know anything about Tetris CD-i it's probably the music, which is absolutely amazing but also I feel like the look of the game is underappreciated as well. Tetris games with FMVs are always the best (Grand Master series especially) and has become kind of synonymous with puzzle games of that time being emulated in recent games like Crossniq+. I'm also a sucker for games that mix in real life images as well (first things that come to mind is the food in Tomodachi Life/Smash Bros and Warioware GBA) so having all these super calming 90s FMVs out in nature with some of the chillest music ever made is just sooooo good. There's also some subtle editing done to make the Tetris Obelisk(??) fit in with its environments which looks really nice.
Unfortunately to my knowledge it seems this game still isn't perfectly emulator friendly yet and even besides that the game only has one direction for tetromino rotation and no soft drop so an update to its mechanics in some way would still be ideal
