Falling off a trestle into a ravine, railcars speeding out of control, quicksand, giant monsters attacking townsville, and schools on fire seemed to be daily occurrences that I a budding young extremely neurodivergent child had to be on the lookout for
i didn't watch much childrens television outside of disney, pooh (also disney i suppose), and thomas tapes 'cause i was a shelter child so my threat models were entirely different
Home On The Range (2004) was probably more formative than i'd like to believe in that respect
