Honestly never really saw a difference between preheating and not in mine. So I usually just do straight blast at 360 for 14 minutes. I tend to be ok with them being a little on the dry side though. Then I dip in Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Chipotle BBQ sauce. It's the best way to enjoy a successful hunt, IMO.
also cut a bite sized piece with your fork and knife and then hold it with your teeth and give it a little shake
