the bad news is: Facebook Messenger has AI stickers now
the good news (til they fix it) is: you can do the fun kind of copyright violation

I have a terminal case of bovine pungiform encephalopathy, the bovine puns are cowmpulsory
they/them/moo where "moo" stands in for "you" or where it's funny, like "how are moo today, Lupi?" or "dancing with mooself"

oh my god what. what. what. WHAT. AI is good again for a sec. just for this
this is the worst thing. this is the best thing. is this the thing i have waited for all my life?
notice how it's only ever good when it's a fun lil toy or a 3D graphics rendering feature
Yep! Like, this is actually a fine use for AI IMO? Making dumb stickers. Sure, go ahead! ...it's when it actually gets used for more serious things that it's terrible. But sure, silly stickers, go for it
yeah like, when 15.ai just came out and it had the smash bros ultimate announcer and people were using it to generate character select voice clips for their favorite characters
or when talk to transformer was a small fad for a while and people were using it to generate new metal gear solid codec calls where snake and otacon talk about king k rool, or having it generate a bulbapedia article about Super Mario as if he's a pokemon
or when neuralblender was a small fad and people discovered it was incredibly good at generating bloodborne covers mashed up with anything else, or generating PS1 game case covers
its funny when its used to generate dumb shitposts but then Big Corpo comes in and turns it into a huge speculative investment bubble to try and make billions. trying to invent problems that don't exist so they can sell you a solution.
We will never be rid of AI art until we collectively stop being amused by it auto-generating meme material.
