There really aren't enough tiled wallpaper patterns nowadays - I barely ever see them as anyone's background anymore, usually just a photo.
Not that there's anything wrong with this, of course, just something I've noticed!
Hell, does anyone remember Starfish? I remember generating a lot of my own patterns with that. There seem to be Web-based JavaScript versions and command line versions of it these days, but they don't look anywhere close to the complete customization that Starfish for Windows offered you. I also remember the Mac version, StarfishX being pretty decent, but of course Macs being Macs older software will break, so you've gotta run this on an older Intel machine - I couldn't even run it on Catalina. Shame I couldn't seem to find the source anywhere, lest you could probably port it to newer macOS and ARM Macs...
Unfortunately, the one that I can't seem to find anymore -is- the Windows version! I've got it installed and usable, but I just can't seem to find the installer for it. I found its homepage on WayBack, but unfortunately none of the download links seem to have survived.
