I'm doing this for a few reasons: reasons for me, and reasons for the customers.
For me, I've always had a hard time with getting out Black Friday orders. It's a lot to do at once, and I'm running a shop instead of having a normal job because I have health problems that make it challenging to do a lot of work all at once, and the shop lets me space out a little bit of work every day.
For customers, I've always felt the pressure to get a bunch of stuff on Black Friday weekend and it always feels terrible. It's also very hard to budget in advance or plan. This way, everyone gets time to plan their orders and international customers can get Hannukah orders on time without having to pay more than people who celebrate Christmas/Yule.
This way, I get to space out the holiday orders, people who like to plan get time to buy stuff early, people can budget out what they want for presents a little more easily. Everyone wins!
