Omg, thank you so much! 🥹 When I showed my wife when I was done, she said "Okay, Van Gogh" so perhaps a starry night version is indeed in order. 🌃

Until just a few weeks ago I was making AC Windows like this twenty or thirty times a week at my old job at the plastic shop hahaha, really threw me for a loop to see one made in the wild. I like the decorative touch. How do you make it stay in the frame?
Haha, that's great! Here in the Netherlands, I've actually never seen an AC window unit in the wild before. 😅 The way it stays in the frame is with pure friction! You can see in the last photo that the board is made up of two parts and that they juuuuust fit in the frame. I used a jigsaw to cut out gaps for the hinges on the inside of the window. To install it, I place the bottom board first, and the top board goes on top of that. Then I use small pieces of wood on both sides to keep it in place. No glue and no screws required!
