this was the contingency shot. the one I tried for nearly killed both cameras when a wave hit me and the tripods, knocking one of em over. caught it before it hit the water, though!
it's been a few hours since I got home, I should in fact double check the state of both cameras, though.
also, cohost feature request: please, even if the attachment goes stale, don't delete the alt text from the draft, this is the third time I've had to write it.
this is cropped in from the 70-300, which was set closer to 70. if I'd just stuck to the one camera I could've pulled this off and pulled back for both types of shot I wanted.
it was hard to dial the focus because live view had nothing but haze, and the viewfinder was being a bit fiddly, but I could've done it.
i think i just pulled the brightness down a bit too much in snapseed, i wasn't really doin much with it
Space Scout are some folks i've known in part or whole for ages, at this point, and it was fun hangin' out yesterday!
