i decided to plug in my old chromebook out of curiosity and such, and well. it does power on. it had lost the OS after being unplugged for a year
it told me to take the SD card out so it could go into recovery mode and now the SD card has vanished into the ether. and it's not even because my room is a tanglemess, because it's actually fuckin clean for once after all the work i went through to get it nice over the past month.

not the end of the world, i already backed everything up off of it when i got this chromebook, copied everything from that 64gb sd to this new 128gb microsd, but y'know.
