still absolutely furious that APUG (the primary technical forum for film photography) ran some kind of Dead Link Destroyer script on their entire forum in like 2017 with no backup and for no reason, after they changed the site's name and domain to Photrio, destroying all internal links prior to that point

Especially since archive.org was well known at that point, so they should know dead links aren't dead. They could have just marked them. Plus the internal ones they really should have fixed before that
