(it’s a first order approximation of a squircle using bezier curves) now i personally consider the “canonical” squircle to be ((abs(x)^n) + (abs(y)^n))^(1/n)=r where n = 4, whereas the cohost squircle is closer to n = 3, but cohost allows transparency in avatars so i could simply make it the shape i wanted anyway ^O^ and basically that’s why cohost is the best social media website
