one of my many favorite things about my partners is how they'll just casually bring up all sorts of semi-obscure topics in everyday conversation, from economic concepts like loss leaders to shader mathematics to that one anime about dragons who turn into planes and eat their pilots, and it's completely unpretentious on their part. they aren't doing it to show off their knowledge, it's just how they're wired - always soaking up new information, and constantly, playfully weaving it into unlikely and delightful associations. like puns but for concepts
