local (to my hobby) angle: I hope the mechanical keyboard vendor community, which almost universally uses shopify, speaks up about this
that's some severe doubling down. i guess at least now it's unambiguous
i feel like every time i buy something off an independent seller they're always using shopify. this sucks ;—;
Yeah, it's really unfortunate, and it's not like there's an actually ethical payment processor available for small sites either (as far as I know)

oh this is so gross... a few weeks ago i saw mintlodica was going to be doing a keyboard meetup here in l.a. but it was at the shopify space downtown which is located in a complex owned by some developers currently trying to gentrify chinatown even further 🙃 (plus there was no info posted about covid precautions 🙃) now i'm even more glad that i decided not to go lmao
