conversation in coolstation sometimes shifts to the availability of bodily functions in the game and how some places are removing it and on the other end how some players are weird about it and how do we strike that delicate balance. sometimes the old ways can tell us a lot for how to handle things!
there used to be an awful alien punishment mutantrace in goonstation (the full name is deservedly in The Past) so that when some doofus assed-whole pesters admins to turn them into a cool alien (as in 20th century fox's aliens, since that was a game mode) they'd grant their wish and be turned into a badly drawn space alien with brain damage, awful text modifiers, and all sorts of problems including possibly no arms
so that principle applied to people getting weird about it in game (18+ in our case means responsible adults doing goofs and spoofs and jokes, not horny sextimes) why not create a Dutch Angel Dragon Belgian Seraph Basilisk punishment critter to turn people into? when they're being way too loud and weird about it, whether in favor or against, when they just gotta fukken cool it. there you go, now you can't do any sort of bodily function because you've been ordained by mormon jesus to not have any sort of openings beyond your face
but anyway i wasn't going to post about it at all until @warc proposed naming the command 'revoke-holes'
and now you know all about it
laters
space station 13 is like dwarf fortress in that you can tell me about literally any sequence of events happening in that context and I will be like yeah okay that tracks
