my grandfather's friend who has an HVAC company napkin mathed that i'd need something like a 2 or 3 ton, and i feel like for my 500 square foot, 1 bedroom 1960s trailer, that may be way oversized
And like, sure, it gets a lot of direct sun, the windows don't seal because they're crank/louver windows (that i can't replace until after i get the AC installed), and its a trailer from the 1960s with that level of insulation.
But 2 or especially 3 ton seems excessive. the two window units can't quite keep up to keep it cozy but they at least keep it bearable mostly
dunno. i'm sure there's a queer hvac technician out there who can offer insight on this website
