one of those things i appreciate about vr - people who aren't into macro trying it out and finding out they enjoy it
because it's just neat
casual conversations with friends that fit right in the palm of your hand
your view on a balcony being filled with big wolf snoots
a friend who i know had no interest in size difference at all, and yet has found genuine species euphoria as a Little Creature, finding the best spots to stand on to carry on conversations without craning their neck
it's part of why i'm very sceptical about the longevity of any social VR platform that does not allow such flexibility in form, for people to express themselves as they truly wish to be, not as a limited avatar that the creator will allow
unless they can truly capture the business, business, business, meetings market (so far this market has not emerged with currently available platforms, to my knowledge)
this is a HUGE (tee hee) reason i love when someone vibes with macro; the necessary literal perspective shift forces a rhetorical, emotional, or metaphorical shift, and when people resonate with that it's exciting to me!
