let's all start with our favorite things
it was practically a swan song for traditional animation, at the tail of the disney renaissance, at the tail end of traditional animation at disney as a whole.
It brought back painted backgrounds and all sorts of techniques that hadn't been used much in years, if not decades, in favor of their fancy hybrid software i can't remember the name of.
It tells a really sweet and meaningful story about family twenty years before that became the theme between many contemporary Disney films (it's a good theme, not judging).
The biggest thing that sucks about it, to me at least, is how much of that is glossed over because Stitch became a proto-Minion in marketing madness and how a lot of folk will miss the movie because of that.
