Apparently another Google service is closing, as they do:
I know this is just because YouTube is slowly absorbing anything multimedia from Google, and not an actual closing of a service; Google Music became YouTube Music before YouTube Music added a podcast service to replace Google Podcasts, but...
The amazing thing about podcasts is anyone can publish them anywhere, and anyone can listen to anything they want with a tool of their choice.
Don't ever use a service trying to centralize it! All the Big Tech Giants are offering their own podcasting services, because it's the last place RSS is still dominant and they fucking hate that. They'd like you to use their apps to manage podcasts, listen to unskippable commercials, collect and sell data on what you listen to.
(On the other hand, I think about how many people probably lost access to Joe Rogan because Spotify locked him inside their walled garden, and, you know...maybe it's not all bad.)
