@cordlessmodem asked:

I'm going through Too Much Future and heard you mention you were a System Shock fan (I think the actual words were "Shock head?"). You and CMRN are probably terribly busy all the time but what are the chances of a critical playthrough of the System Shock series / cinematic universe? Would two main games and a remake have enough meat on their bones to make more than one podcast and if not, how far out would you go to justify a series? The Bioshocks, Deus Exes, or anything vaguely like a 451 game?

Thanks for all the pods, I keep Too Much Future, Mages and Murder Dads, and Homestuck Made This World on rotation as I catch up on the back catalog

thank you for listening to our shows! also i have thought about a shock-lineage show before, and it's not something i'd be opposed to. i just don't know if it'd work as a series for us--on the one hand i'm not sure how cmrn feels about immersive sims and if i'd be Subjecting him to something, and on the other hand, he and i are both of a generation of player-critics where Bioshock in particular has been discoursed into the ground so minutely that it seems almost impossible to talk about it without feeling like your mouth is full of dust. i suppose we could just skip those, but then the absence becomes conspicuous...
