the Reception section of so many a wikipedia page is so painfully useless. like i get that they want to put something there but a huge majority all feel like weird little quibbles amputated from all context.
"game developers forced to listen to the American Nintendo Direct announcer describe their life's work" and "reviewers forced listen to random pull quotes of theirs from wikipedia Reception sections read by the tiktok TTS voice" are adjacent rooms in hell
Not just want—in many cases I suspect it's necessary to get the article kept. WP's got criteria about what's allowed to have an article, and reviews /critique are some of the only stuff that will help a game meet those criteria.
