yea i was fully unprepared for the extent to which the 'funny cooking manga' actually ended up having some of the most grounded, relatable queer stories. it's great, it's become one of my absolute favs.
yeah, its not the most groundbreaking comic, and for the most part its pretty simple enjoyable fluff. but its just SO refreshing reading a story about working adult women speaking openly about Gender Bullshit they have to live through and figuring out being gay. i already watched the tv drama but the mangas version of this scene of her melting into dough is SUCH good imagery too, having a great time with this. i think they omitted this detail in the drama but her taking a uquiz to figure out shes a lesbian is so funny too, shes just like 15yo me fr fr LOL
