this recording was me trying to make something with a creative limitation, in this case only using 3 pieces of hardware. the result was a lot of fun!
patch notes: voices are sequential circuits prophet 12 as the lead voice (a loaner from a friend who worked there!), a make noise 0-coast as the bass, and an elektron octatrack providing a few things; kick drum 808 sample, midi sequencing over everything, and audio effects for both instruments which are being messed with in real time at points during the recording. i'm also fiddling with some knobs on the two other synths directly throughout, but the octatrack ends up consuming most of my attention. also the patches are original, the 808 sample is not.
no DAW/Ableton Live/etc involved! all sounds were created, sequenced, mixed, processed, and fucked with in hardware, a computer only providing the final recording step.
