About me:
Lesbo, trans woman, animal person, music lover (currently in my "annoying about collecting vinyl" phase), musician (currently in my "still bad but can make trouble" phase on piano and synths), cyclist, city dweller, game enjoyer, computer hater (I write software for a living), hardware lover, also I will long post about basically anything that eats my brain hard enough tagged with "#lydia writes"
My interests lately:
- Fighting games! I play Guilty Gear Xrd (2nd newest one because it's what they play at my locals), I main Baiken, I have been doing this for like 4 months and it's eating my fucking brain. Send help and/or sick S Kabari reset clips
- Biking but for vanity/health reasons! Besides the urban errand running, I've started using my bike to like, work out. Family history of heart issues and a realization that you can in fact bike your way to a bigger ass have combined to a powerful motivation. The "just exercise to fix your mental health" people aren't correct BUT it does make some things less bad for me.
- I'm Totally Not A Weeb but I've been watching a lot of anime lately. And generally I've found animated media to be more in my wheelhouse the last couple years than anything live action for a myriad of reasons I will probably Longpost about at some point. Gwitch rules
- Baking. Someone gave me a nice stand mixer on the condition that I repair it a few months ago. My cookie game is viciously strong and my cinnamon roll game is getting quite good. Suggest recipes to me!
Other interests/Fun facts
- I read like a book a week, ask me about about gay SciFi and Fantasy novels! Also give me recs!
- I fucking love coffee, I make espresso and other kinds of coffee at home
- I like to go camping, but odds are not the way you like to go camping
- I once helped throw a rave on an aircraft carrier
- I'm from Florida and this has anchored my concept of all oceans as "really pleasant and warm year round" which I constantly have to remind myself is not true
