i'm hoping nothing... yet!!! because... i've heard...... that you should keep your calendar clear.....

because in Olympia, Washington (and also as online as always, simultaneously streamed) i heard there's going to be a new Normal For Girls event that you can go to with your physical body if you want.... isn't that wild...

i heard 5 people were going to be performing that night........... i heard it was gonna be really really really fun

anyway i just think that this might be worth putting on a calendar for some reason with more information coming extremely soon

The venue has an enforced 50-person maximum capacity, which is an older number they were given when the venue was much smaller that they've yet to get updated. Having been to the venue since its remodeling there is plenty of space for distancing. Masks mandatory and I'd like to get a stock of KN95s for people without them.

I've heard of people having a hard time scheduling their latest vaccination so I'm not sure asking for proof of vaccination will be all that reasonable, though we're still 3 weeks out. I'd like to do this as responsibly as we can though, with the understanding that hosting anything in person is inviting an irresponsible risk; what would be stronger precautions in your mind that I probably haven't thought of?

similarly, giving people the option to view the livestream simultaneously from home/wherever is in service to this as well. all in all we're not expecting to come that close to this maximum headcount at all (of course it'd be a complicated delight to be wrong about that, but taking the most reasonable precautions we can take regardless is the move so ty for the question)

Mandatory masks is definitely the most bang for your buck. If you're enforcing venue size anyway, I might enforce "have the first vaccination"—I agree full vax is a bigger ask, but even just the first one is a substantial immunity boost.
