so if the system won't POST, and: -- the power supply switch is on; -- and reseating / selecting different ram sticks in different slots doesn't work; -- and removing the CPU to update firmware to run with 5000-series ryzen doesn't work (this kind CAN boot w/o processor); -- and the chassis fans are definitely plugged in; -- and i've unplugged / replugged the power cables; -- and i've removed the GPU; -- and i've reset CMOS; -- and the PSU is working (able to get fan spinning by shorting pins); -- and i've removed the mobo from case (breadboarded it) so it's just two fans, atx and cpu power, 1 stick of ram, in case of shorts from the mobo screws...
the mobo's probably shot, right?
