Maaaaan it is super obnoxious when you're watching a streamer try to play a game blind and someone in chat wants to make it really apparent that they know what's coming up, but they'll only vaguepost and dance around it like "oh here we go its time" or "this is it chat" when there's no indication in-game that something big is going to happen yet. Let the streamer cook! I know you're excited about the thing that's about to happen but you don't need to give them advance warning when a thing is going to happen!
It's frustrating cause I wanna call these people out and tell em to stop, but at the same time it calls more attention towards what they are trying to hint at which can worsen the situation! Just enjoy the journey, don't try and grab the wheel yourself!
not that i stream all THAT much but ive had this happen a few times and more than half the time i don't want to give it attention specifically because i hate also risking calling out the kind of person who's doing it specifically to get a rise and then they suddenly become the main character troll of the chat until me or one of my friends bans them
people love ignoring 'no backseating' to the nth degree
we must make the social cost of backseat gaming on twitch incredibly high. we should make people terrified to do it.
