to me this would've been revolutionary design a decade ago. in 2023 ai sentience is a chud talking point about chatgpt, a convo from which this game does nothing to separate itself. the twine boom and the stanley parable were fifteen years ago. queer people have been making 3d games about depersonalization and control for the last decade. this feels hamfisted and extractive to me, not doing enough to earn the emotional beats it's trying to put me through, riding on non-existent novelty. bad game.
