gonna go to the ER because of some health issues i'm having... i'd rather just go to urgent care but they're not able to help with this abdominal pain. i try to go sparingly. the last time i went i literally had shingles, the time before that there was a stomach bug going around that had me writhing in pain... i'm very lucky to be on masshealth so it's not a cost worry for me. it's just funny to go to the place where you go for life threatening emergencies when you feel just bad enough for it to be potentially a problem worth getting checked out. migraines, dry mouth, and abdominal pain.
the peculiar despair of feeling bad, going to a hospital or doctor, subjecting yourself to iniquities for 1-5 hours, and then telling you "well your labs are great :) you look healthy :) follow up with your pcp if you feel like it :), and then leaving feeling exactly as bad as you left.
