think I may have had a bit of a plural moment today? was talking about something and ended up on the topic of fictional robot characters I liked (aigis, elster) and something happened? I got really into discussing their designs and I started talking slightly different. for a good few hours after that my mannerisms, thought patterns, etc. were very noticably changed in subtle ways.
I kept manually capitalizing beginnings of sentences and proper nouns where I would previously go out of my way to not do, I for whatever reason found myself texting the cyan heart 🩵 emoji even though I'm usually a devout yellow heart 💛 user, my grammar and word choices were way more formal, and I even took off the cat ears and collar I had put on; they felt strange to wear. a few hours later I got really sleepy and seemed to shift back into my normal kitty cat self. I think whatever she was she had her own name, even.

does that sound like plurality? I've had suspicions that I could be plural but I've always been a little too anxious to look into it.

update: yeah it was that. she's really nice though, she uh. pet me. somehow(??) like she pet me in headspace and I felt it physically. didn't know she could do that but I'm certainly not complaining. she really likes aigis from persona 3 and that's what her "avatar" seems to be within headspace. I like her.

🎵 Obviously the best way to know is to dig into it yourself/yourselves, but at least as far as I can tell this sounds very plural-like. Having different behavior, preferences, even thinking of a new name at the very least sounds like signs that there's someone else there. Also, it's actually very common for headmates/alters/whatever term you (all) prefer, to appear as a fictional character.

If you do want to dig more into it, these are some sites we were sent when we first started questioning whether we were plural or not:

https://morethanone.info/
https://healthymultiplicity.com/

I personally recommend starting with the first one, as that one is essentially a basic walkthrough of what plurality is, and some things to look out for when figuring yourself/yourselves out. The second one has a lot of links to all sorts of guides and essays related to figuring things out after finding out, should you need them.

This sounds a lot like it's something! Or at least like it's Definitely Not Nothing - a lot in here lines up with the kind of 'sense of being someone else' we've got? Obviously though ultimately only you'll be able to know what's going on up there through your own interrogation in which we wish you the best of luck
