I don't remember if I've posted these on cohost before, but I commissioned artist Yuutama2804 to draw some of my characters from my web novel Unjust Depths. Pictured here is Senior Lieutenant Murati Nakara in the big chair (she wishes it was her big chair...) and Ensign Sonya Shalikova walking along with runaway cuttlefish nun Maryam Karahailos. I wonder if those two are close? Yuu's art is fantastic and I love these comms to bits.

on my other social media accounts i did like a moody in-universe post about the new unjust depths but i dont feel like that fits here so. theres a new unjust depths i guess! here it is!

I posted this over on twitter but I'm done with the weekly schedule for Unjust Depths.

I ended up having to contort myself too much to finish chapters a) on time b) communicating everything i wanted to in a given chapter and c) having the quality that i wanted from a passion project that i devote a lot of thought to. the weekly thing helped me when i was starting out to build a writing habit, but lately, ive been wanting to do longer and more detailed chapters, and i just cant write 12000-15000 words in a week without something breaking somewhere else, like my sleep schedule, personal life or day job.

So chapters will come out when they're done. If I can get everything I want to do, comfortably, in a week, then cool. If I can't, then there's no chapter until it's done.

Me: Lately ive been really into writing beautiful women tearing apart people and eating them in graphic detail.
