i said 2022 was going to be the year of evil catgirls in unjust depths. unfortunately, it was the year of madiha's character development into a sickly genius maiden, so i didn't get to do as much evil catgirl. 2023 will therefore be the extended year of the evil catgirl.

possibly also 2024. im planning for anthology 2 to be bigger than anthology 1. it'll probably end up being the biggest anthology overall. (i have an ending to the story planned that can be done in an anthology 3 or a final anthology 4 but don't hold me to this.)

ill try my best to balance better being a sickly beautiful maiden who is wilting in her bed from consumption, getting enough work done to finish the story before i die, etc, other considerations, in 2023. thank you for your understanding and patience. if you read unjust depths this year, or you are planning to, thank you for giving my passion project a chance.

(just so nobody is alarmed, i am not actually going to die. my health this year overall has been really bad. i've been physically ill more often; i've been more depressed because of my health; i have been much more stressed by both those things; but it's not fatal. just difficult.)

2103 words so far today. One more scene and I'll be done with 11.6!

I am hoping that the insane shouting match I just wrote parses to the readers...we'll see what the beta readers think about them.

1605 words today. I feel good about it. I was afraid with all I had going on today, I'd get out practically 0 words, but I managed to sit down, even without an ideal environment, and get something done. I only have two planned scenes I need to do, and plenty of time. Tomorrow I'll be able to get a much nicer and neater writing session prepared, which will be good.

Wrote 3500 words today. I would say Unjust Depths 11.6 is about 1/3ish complete now at 4000 words. I've got an around 10-12k word target for now, which feels realistic for December 4th. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with myself, and it's buoyed my morale to have gotten a really good session in. It's been a struggle to muster that creative energy.
