My favorite thing about the Rankin bass holiday specials is that every single time they feel the need to add Secret Christmas Lore they just made up just now and it's always some completely deranged high fantasy bullshit

she is an extremely obsessive paladin who studies her religion daily. It's just her religion is "funny myths about American capitalist holidays". She wants to have a serious theological debate about "is Santa real" (even if it's a moot point, she's done a pilgrimage to the pole and seen him)
