i think the following list of videoed games are worth a look!
- Snake Pass is a neato game where you're a snake and you can slither around and wrap around things and it's a lot of fun and it runs great on the steam deck even though steam says it doesn't work
- Peglin is what happens when you take peggle and you make it a dungeon crawler and it's fuckin great.
- Terra Nil is a fun lil environmentally-themed puzzler game
- Rail Route is what happens when a game developer has the kind of autism that makes you very interested in train routes and scheduling, lots of fun
- Here Comes Niko! is maybe my favourite game at the moment; a 3d platformer in a world of furries where the goal is to help everyone you meet. i wish niko was a furry like everyone else in the game but i can relate equally well because niko is non binary and can longjump.
- Button City is a lovely low-poly 3d adventure game where you are a kiddo and you want to hang out at the local arcade. everyone is a furry including you. lots of minigames, lots of fun.
- Aka is a beautiful isometric adventure game where you are a red panda and the time for peace has come. you help the locals and find fulfilment in your life
- Pikuniku is a really fun 2d platformer where you're kind of oblong-shaped and present sort of a menacing personality but not really. lots of fun.
- LEGO Bricktales is a fun 3d puzzle-platformer kind of game where you go to various worlds and solve problems with some interesting dimensional powers you gain over the course of the story. very fun game.
- AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome is a frankly pretty unique first-person "falling a long way down and doing some cool and fun shit" game. very hard to describe, but honestly a lot of fun. i seem to remember that it controlled really nicely with a mouse, but it also controls really nicely with a controller. also check out the dev's other games because they're all.. fairly unique. i mean that in a good way.
- Going Under is a pretty fun and visually interesting 3d dungeon crawler where you are an intern at a company and nobody knows what they're doing because it's a Modern Company which means nobody knows how to do a job. lots of fun.
