what if we ran cohost ads as a community? here's a rough idea:
- we set up a @cohostads account, maybe have it ran by a few different people
- users can submit ads that they would like to run on the account
- ads get posted and promoted/shared around on the account
- users also include screenshot proof of how many cohost! plus subscriptions they have bought. the more subscriptions, the more promo they receive
- people can follow the account and see ads on cohost occasionally
us creators get our cool user-submitted ads we've been bugging staff about for months, viewers get to see cool content from the community, staff gets money. ideally user ads get added to cohost at some point, but i really do wonder how viable it is to run this as a community.
