I forgot/never realized just how useful markup of any kind is for social media
Like, being able to inline links, actually having them appear as words that are part of your text but also a link, that's.. refreshing x3 So odd that it feels so "amazing" even if it's basic
Also urgh, BBcode should have been better. Markdown feels much more fitting for social stuff. Forums always gave me a bit of anxiety and made me feel like I have to spend way too much time on composing and rechecking everything and formatting and all...
So yeah, markdown. It's neat! If you make a social thing, please support it or something similar enough that is easy to write inline with the "prose" text
