i think the reason i'm vibing so much with the BBS is the complete lack of distinction between text and drawing. like, yeah, i can make a colorful html post, and i can use

β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–’β–’β–’β–’β–“β–“β–“β–“β–ˆβ–ˆ block elements β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–“β–“β–“β–“β–’β–’β–’β–’β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘

and whatever, but it is way more clunky. i have to copy paste the special characters from offsite (or make an ahk script like with my Ξ” key) but then i have to wrap all colors in a span... and, sure, i can go into another program, draw something, export it, and attach it inline...

but i can't easily and trivially do this type of nonsense. and it is so much fun. i want a chat app where text and drawings are interchangeable. give me a canvas on cohost or discord

i have a program laying around somewhere that let you basically doodle on a canvas and it would export it as a big block of text you could shit out on irc
