maybe this is a silly idea, but to lean on the curated-ness of the platform:
- make a post with links to tag pages on the site that you like and want to share with others
- tag that post with #tag discovery, so that it will show up on the tag page for #tag discovery
- bookmark the tag discovery tag and check it so often and see if anyone's posted any tags you might be interested in ๐ก
right now i only bookmark two tags, so i'll link those here, but cohost allows you to edit posts, right? so i can come back and edit this post later when i find all the cool tags that people will inevitably post in the tag... right?
- #welcome to cohost, where people post a little bit about themselves in hope of seeking your follow (here was mine, if you're curious)
- #seltzerposting, which has sadly few posts in it and i unfortunately have not contributed to yet becasue i've been drinking too much soda
- technically i did just bookmark #tag discovery because it does let you bookmark the tag if you go directly to the url it would exist at even if nobody's posted at it yet (cool!)
- (new!) #final fantasy xiv, which i am trying to start playing again because it seems chill and everyone says the story is really good
- (new!) #follow friday, where people are recommending people to follow, similar to this thing to recommend tags... if i'd had foresight, i would've called this tag thing tag thursday ๐ i do have my own follow friday post for this week (nov 4, 2022), if you want to check it out!
anyway, i will go "of course" if someone else has already come up with this idea but called the tag something else and i just didn't think to search for that specific tag ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
