I particularly loved these "proto designs" that I hadn't seen anywhere else before. Including that Ganondorf looking dude, look at that! This game's art style and sci-fi aesthetics still inspire me so much to this day.

that feeling when you beat a boss with a party member incapacitated and gratefully discover that they still get XP, neutralizing the urge that you should reload and do the fight again even though it doesn't matter because most RPGs increasing the amount of XP you get from enemies at such a rate that you'll be basically be the level the game wants you to be in the next zone in a couple of battles and why do some RPGs do it like that anyways? i guess being knocked out you forget some of what happened just before, i.e. you lost memory of the experience of battle and but then there are several status conditions in most games that should prevent you from
