i put magic the gathering stuff here

Reused an old design here. If Calix can be a planeswalker (well, they aren't anymore) despite being a mana construct rather than a living creature, why not a village? The rules aren't real, anything goes!

The static ability:
So it appears on a plane, and when it departs it leaves a soulless husk behind. Still a liveable settlement, just kinda empty-feeling. Had to make it lose the loyalty abilities, as initially I'd forgotten that non-walker permanents can use loyalty abilites if they have them!
Indestructible because you can't stab a town. I know that doesn't affect death via loss of loyalty counters, but it just covers some edge cases.

The +1:
Land ramp! Look, what else is a GW walker that is actually a place gonna do?

The -2:
Those lands you got? Fuel for Briarford. All of them.

The -4:
Briarford grows. All Briarfords are Briarford.
