I was stumped for days for what to do for this prompt. I ended up with two ideas. One, a repeating suspend card that happens every 6 turns (representing the two Equinoxes in a year). This might have been a Cosmic spell. The second idea, is this. The USS Equinox from Star Trek Voyager. Initially I thought that was a lazy idea, but one time when going to sleep I had an idea of how it would work.
This is Cosmic, because it's a spaceship. This thing is a 6/7 because of the Star Trek CCG 1st Edition card of the ship, and because I had absolutely no idea how to decide the p/t of a starship.
Orbital is a keyword of my own that I have used before in Cosmic card designs. It's supposed to represent how you don't tend to find spaceships on land, and therefore a knight on horseback can't really reach them.
So in the show, the ship was a Starfleet ship lost in a hostile distant part of the galaxy, and in desperation had started using a fuel source derived from dead aliens to supercharge their engines to get home much faster. So here, you can sacrifice Aliens (thanks Unfinity!) to make the ship basically unblockable except by fast things! Originally the ability was activated by sacrificing an Alien, but then I considered you'd be able to activate it when it wasn't crewed as a free sacrifice outlet for Aliens, and then having to work out if it still applies after then crewing. Rather than make that rules weirdness something for a player to have to deal with, I went with 'on attack' instead.
The crew ability was kinda arbitrary. It just felt like the right amount. With the mana cost, I just had a look at similar vehicles and judged based on that.
Found some fanart of the Equinox, wasn't actually much of it that I could use surprisingly. I'd imagined a named star trek ship to have more. I also managed to make a set symbol!
