This makes sense, right? Someone betrays you, you kill them. If someone betrayed someone else to you, you kill them. Can't trust a traitor!

I put buyback on it because it's uses are quite narrow, so I wanted it to be repeatable. And to make it more useful for those cases where it actually does anything, I also gave it Overload so you can wipe out armies of traitors! Art took a while to find. This does the job.

This might sound like it took no time to make this, but it took a while. I knew what I wanted to make, it just took ages to come up with what it actually did. There weren't any alternate designs or anything, it just didn't come to me for a long time.

I justify this as Mythic rarity as I subscribe to the original idea of what Mythic rarity was, a place for niche cards that do strange things that not everyone will want but some people will really want. I strongly disapprove of Mythic cards just being 'better rares'.

Frost has a lot of meaning in Magic. Frost Lynx has the typical 'frost' effect, tapping down something and preventing it from untapping for a turn. Now that wording is long, so lately they've been using the new stun counters to represent this.

Anyway. Frost. You know what I thought of, right away?

Mr Freeze from 'Batman and Robin'.

So, with cold puns in mind, the name of the card appeared, and what it would do! Freeze everything that just turned up. Additionally, a spell like this had to be a Snow spell. The wording was... interesting to figure out, but I think I got it. A card worthy of the cold man himself.

Took me a while to think about what I wanted to do here. I knew I wanted to do an Enchantment that was also something else, to follow on Theros' theme of stars being to do with enchantments. Then I went 'what if Sol Ring, but distant stars?'

Okay, there's already flavour text that implies Sol Ring uses starlight, but I don't care and I like my idea better than theirs. Theirs is dumb.

So Sol Ring but different. One, it's an Enchantment Artifact because stars. Two, It has suspend, because it's light is from far away. Yes, there's already a Sol Ring with suspend, so I had to make it even more different.

While the stars are distant, you can still see them and benefit from their light, so I reflected that in an ability that happens while suspended, which has been done before. Originally, than only happened while suspended, but I changed my mind later, making it take place also on the field. I had to take wording from Eminence abilities to get that right.

With this in mind, I still wanted it to be able to generate two mana. So tap ability for one mana, and to add a little 'stellar divination' flavour, scry 1 on a mana ability. Wooo! No stack no stack no stack!
