i'm finishing up the woodwind quintet i've been working on for many months and will share it soon! maybe! but in the meantime, here's something i was randomly thinking about from many moons ago (2012). i was part of the highSCORE new music festival in pavia, italy and had two pieces of mine performed in a 1000 year old church, including this one. it was so cool! i haven't gotten to experience actual instrumentalists performing my pieces very often (this generally costs money which i don't have), and honestly, nothing compares to it. i hope the future brings me opportunities to experience it more often.
also, you can hear the festival director yelling my name at the end because mine was the first piece played and i didn't know i was supposed to stand up so people knew who they were applauding for, and i think that's very funny
