I knew cohost was super white. I didnt take that as a net negative, but that was when i figured it was just how the demographic shook out and not concerned citizens white. Really shitty way to start out my Juneteenth tbh.
i hate Discourse but what's happened with Renkon is absurd. as this post says, the reaction to their honestly interesting and thought provoking post was a level of vitriol that reminded me of the kind of online audience that I did not expect to be on this website
especially the "web police" accusations. trying to make someone who's doing an amazing work at showcasing Japanese indie games shut up like they're some kind of Twitter keyboard warrior, while the topic they're talking about is literally what they both live and dedicate part of their life to was... i'd say nonsensical but there has to be a stronger word than that
