I love life is strange to death. It's such a *good story about women's love. Girls helping each other. And girls hurting. But it has the classic issue that many other girl-centric-franchises-written-by-men have where despite this... These characters are punished for their love at every step.
And it sucks, it drives me insane. It's my biggest gripe with it (and this "genre" as a whole - see: me tearing apart PMMM for the same reason), because it doesn't even feel like a "tradgedy". It's just hurting for the sake of hurting, and it honestly almost feels like the player gets punished too!
I need to like. Replay the first game on my own and take notes on this shit sometime to properly comprehend my thoughts. I want to write about this entire issue with this trope too, because it's such a weird one.
