Well, today is the day. This is release day for Unintended Tendencies, my first proper publication of a story in a format other than posting it on social media and hoping for the best. Now I'm posting it on itch.io and hoping for the best! Many folks have read the first 75% of this story, and the last three chapters were held back for this release.
It takes place up on the System, in the Post-Self Cycle universe as created by @makyo. It is the story of one character, shortly after upload, exploring themself and their identity, checking the boundaries of who and what they are, peeling back the layers of gender, self, and species while discovering the fractures that lay beneath along with the trauma carried from the years before upload.
You're welcome to join on this journey, and fear not if you haven't read the Post-Self Cycle series for yourself. The story stands up even without the prerequisite, though I highly recommend that if you enjoy this you should definitely go pick up the foundations as such at https://makyo.ink
