@CERESUltra asked:

I know you're the author friend and one of my favorites of all time at that, but

If I remember correctly you said you got your undergrad in music composition and theory?

So what's your favorite instrument? Is there a type of music you like writing more than others?what about playing? Shall we sing a song of songs?

Eyyy, yeah! Got my undergrad in composition from Colorado State. Took ages to do so since I was working, but thankfully I was paying by credit rather than by year.

My concentration was choral music specifically, and I was in choir the whole time I was there. It was a ton of fun, really, and I remain super thankful for the chance. I liked writing for choir okay, and wrote a few songs. Attached is a dodgy performance from my senior recital of one of my pieces, I Often Wondered. The words of the poem are the same down as they are across, and thus so are the chords of the song.

My real favorite thing to write for, though, is the piano. Attached is an early piece from uni, Tempest.

If you want a better recording of the choir I was in, this was us at the inaugural NCCO convention. (now with the correct file uploaded!)
