@hamratza and I read the first part of our book, Motes Played, at a party tonight. I did not get a super good feel for the reaction, but it at least seemed to go over well. I will admit to being kind of worried about the book, but oh well, all I can do is hope it will be fine.

Yesterday's interviews went amazing and yet I did not get the job because I lacked domain specific knowledge (which is a. on them for not providing, but b. kind of understandable because there was no job posting, they just kinda said "you seem neat, come interview and we will see where it goes" with very little in the way of requirements).
If anyone is looking for a technical writer with a master's in writing and pedagogy, a Python or Go dev with experience in Javascript/Typescript, or a professional linux nerd, please hit me up.
