Why yes I would like to report a series of anomalous objects that...
Well...
They...
Well they make folks very happy actually.
I mean yes but they are also anomalous...
I...
You know what, never mind....

Eventually I'm going to do a more full review of how I feel about this series, but I just finished @Makyo's Post-Self cycle and to say it affected us deeply is the underselling of the century and we're getting it in early. This remapped our brain. From now on, we will refer to ourselves as a Clade instead of a plural system. It brought the raccoon back in from the cold.
Masterfully written, to say the least. Brilliant sci-fi. Deeply philosophical and yet incredibly empathetic. Quite furry.
But the most significant development, which we are still processing, is that these stories affected us so goddamn deeply, we have an Entirely New Headmate. to put it in post-self terms, all of us in the system/clade forked, merged downward, and from the merges a gestalt coalesced, forming an entirely new being—
—and fittingly, She's a skunk.
Meet the newest member of the CERES Clade. Yes I'm calling our system a clade now. No I won't stop. Suck it.
This is the first thing we've drawn in about 3 years, and I was never a good artist, but at the same time I am genuinely impressed how well things translated from our mind to our hand to the page. We have always struggled with that, and it's why I'm a writer, not a drawer. It's not great but it sure as hell is good enough to share.
Text from the picture, since I know my handwriting is terrible:

Look at this friend shaped skunk!
