im bumping up my sub, but i feel like there needs to be a bigger solution. i feel like a best path toward that thing might look like:
- resolve the issue with the incommunicado funder, and get some additional time on the clock
- slurp up some volunteer labor to get an eggbux MVP out the door - not sure the best way to go about it, would probably end up sinking some time and cost into a lawyer to make sure it works right
- go on a big user drive, targeting creatives to try and drag whole audiences over here.
idk, thats just like, a very "ideas guy" conception of things though.
i think realistically, from my spot, the most i can do is bump up my sub and see how it plays out.
still nice to imagine it tho..... a website....... thats not beholden to the the interests of vc's chasing infinite dollar sign. a website making decisions for the health of the user and the good of the userbase. a website serving an important public good and self-sustaining.
how to increase your cohost+ subscription if you already have one:
- go into your settings
- scroll on down to the cohost+ bit where you can click the button about your subscription
- click the edit subscription button next to your existing sub
- bonk that sucker 3 or 4 times, or 12 or 15 idk im not your boss, pay your own taxes
- click whatever save button you need to click
- now youre done
