I started watching Tokyo Revengers literally just because of a special/movie cover Looks Gay

and it has actually turned out to be very fun. Not quite done with the first season yet, so haven't even gotten to the second season or where this movie would fit in (probably?). I don't know anything about the movie's placement in things, chronologically for the story, either, but I'm assuming... probably after the first season.
Apparently the top rated review (according to my partner) on kitsu for this was something like "it's ERASED but with delinquents" which is not quite true, actually, necessarily because ERASED has a certain sauce that this has not delivered even remotely but I do get what they mean because there's focused, limited time travel involved. However... ERASED was like, Satoru had the ability to go back to different points in time. MC of Tokyo Revengers can only ever go back the same day, fifteen(?) years ago. So he gets ONE SHOT to fix things, each time, then back to the present, and then find out if he fixed it. Much higher stakes, in a way, although he's not dealing with technically a serial killer.
actually just found out this is the third season's poster. i'm silly. good news is this isn't a oneshot character (silver hair). too often movie-only characters are so cool (imo) and only there for, you know, ~40 minutes.
